CBAR Achievement Announcement

Chapter Management Excellence is an integral component to enhancing the member experience. Successful APICS chapters provide their members with opportunities for stellar education, career development, and networking.

The APICS Chapter Benchmarking and Recognition (CBAR) program recognizes chapters that have exceeded minimum standards and exemplify excellence in overall chapter management. We are proud to announce the APICS Providence Chapter received the 2011 CBAR Platinum Award designation, an admirable accomplishment for an APICS chapter.

As a member of an APICS Platinum Award Winning Chapter, the CBAR designation signifies your chapter’s commitment to providing an exceptional membership experience.

“On behalf of the APICS Board of Directors – Congratulations on this important accomplishment.  The chapter is “the Face of APICS” to many members as well as potential members and achieving the platinum designation acknowledges you and your chapter team are consistently doing the right things right.  Keep up the good work!”

“Please accept congratulations on behalf of the Northeast District for achieving the Platinum level of achievement for the 2010-2011 CBAR program. This is the fifth year at a Gold level status which equates to a Platinum level for the Chapter. The Providence Chapter is very strong and a great model for other Chapters on serving current APICS members and future Members. Highlights from CBAR submission......the Chapter is very connected to its members and adjusts to feedback, excellent member needs survey. The website is also very user friendly and allows people to quickly find information. The narrative was also insightful and recognized self-assessment to goals. The "Performance, Planning and Practices Report" really does fit this overview and should consider sharing as a best practice. Overall, the Providence Chapter is very strong and has positive outlook for the future.”
