Cancellation/Refund Policy

 

Cancellations

The APICS Providence Chapter Cancellation/Refund Policy differs according to the event type. Please read the cancellation and refund policy below according to the type of event you are attending.

Professional Development Events/Meetings

Cancellations are allowed up to twenty four (24) hours prior to the start of the event. If you have paid in advance by credit card or check and your cancellation is received no less than 24 hours before the event starts, the APICS Providence Chapter will provide a full refund.

Registrants who Cancel after the event starts will not be entitled to a refund and any payments will be forfeited.

Education Classes, Seminars and Other Programs

If you pay in advance with a credit card or check, cancellations along with full refunds are allowed no later than 1 week (7 days) prior to the events start date. Cancellations less than 7 days prior to the start of the event carry a $50 cancellation fee. Once the program starts, registrants will not be entitled to a refund.

Class and Event Cancellation

In the event APICS Providence Chapter if forced to cancel an event, all paid registrants will receive credit for a future event of similar or lesser values. If no such future event is scheduled or at the request of registrant a full refund will be issued.

Requesting a Cancellation/Refund

  • Members who wish to cancel a registration may do so online by click the Member Area link and clicking the View My Order History any time before the event starts or by using the Contact Us page to send the chapter a request to withdraw from the event or class. Be sure to include the class name you are requesting to be withdrawn from. Please note online cancellations are subject to the above restrictions.
  • Non-Members who wish to cancel a registration may do so any time before the event starts by use the Contact Us page to send the chapter a request to withdraw from the event or class. Be sure to include the class name you are requesting to be withdrawn from.

Requests must be post marked prior to the event start date.

Cancellation of In-House sponsored classes or group registration must be cancelled by contacting our VP of Programs.

Refunds

All refunds, regardless of original payment type, will be made by check within 7 to 10 business days from the receipt of the refund request.
